Last night, I had a dream
A beautiful dream of us;
Just you and I together on the moon.
The skies were brightly lit,
And the stars were right within our reach.
They twinkled in tune,
And together they sang melodies of love and honey.
A beautiful sight it was.
The moon held us in her bosom,
Like a mother, her children.
She caught two baby stars; one for you and the other for me,
And like a magic trick, put them perfectly in your eyes.
You were magnificent to visualize and sweet to hold.
We spent eternity in each other’s arms,
And like day and light, we never missed each other.
